Green Tiger Mobility Private Limited, founded by Ashish Dokania in Bangalore in 2020, offers India’s first ARAI‑certified retrofit solutions that convert existing petrol scooters (up to 125 cc) into hybrid or fully electric vehicles. Their unique i‑Hybrid dual‑powertrain design allows seamless switching between electric and petrol modes—providing up to ~60 km range and ~60 km/h top speed in EV mode while retaining petrol backup for emergencies. The conversion package includes full RTO, insurance, and regulatory compliance, with EMI-based financing often offset by fuel savings. Initially launched in Bengaluru and serving over 500 users, the service is expanding to Delhi NCR and across India in partnership with Indofast Energy’s extensive battery swap network. The company holds multiple patents and receives support from ARAI, government ministries, IIM Bangalore, BITS Pilani, and Bajaj Motors.
